Bookwell Travel To Donating Over 1200 Bags of Groceries, Equivalent to 35,000 Meals

Bookwell Travel continues on their national quest to their 16 million donated meal mark

Charleston, SC (March 23, 2021) – On Saturday, March 27th at 1p, Bookwell Travel will donate over 1,200 bags go groceries, equivalent to 35,000 meals to Project Cool Breeze & Concerned Citizens of the Peninsula of Lowcountry Non-Profit. The donation will be held at the Martin Luther King Park, 155 Jackson St, Charleston, SC 29403, as part of the next phase of Bookwell Travel’s national launch. Leading up to the donation, Bookwell Travel founder Brian Gates will run for 12 hours, starting just after midnight, from The Mills House Wyndham Grand Hotel at 115 Meeting Street – Charleston, SC 29401 to raise awareness for “End 12 Hours of Hunger.”

The food donation in Charleston, South Carolina marks the continuous effort of Bookwell Travel’s national campaign to feed the hungry in every state in the United States by partnering directly with community food organizations like Concerned Citizens of the Peninsula of Lowcountry.

Bookwell Travel has donated meals to community organizations in Connecticut, Delaware, Rhode Island, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Georgia with plans to donate 16 million meals to organizations fighting food insecurity by the end of the year.

Project Cool Breeze: This project donates air conditions and fans to low to moderate-income families and seniors. One of its key accomplishments was advocating for new AC/Heating Units in all of the City’s Public Housing Units.

The goal is to have a healthy, successful organization that is a leader in diversity and service and has a loyal community following.
